Recently MDaemon Technologies discovered that administrators who set-up MDaemon to save a copy of emails using the multiPOP or domainPOP service. Not applying the patch prevents the pulling and leaving a copy of emails on a separate server. Please see the Release Notes for more detail (click here).
This patch is for affected versions and editions of MDaemon Messaging Server (including MDaemon Private Cloud versions). For specific information, see the Affected Software Section below.
Recommendation: For MDaemon installations, MDaemon Technologies recommends that administrators apply the patch by downloading the appropriate version and language file listed below.
Known Issues: There are no known issues that customers may experience when installing this security update.
The following versions of MDaemon have been tested and determined to be affected. Other versions are not affected. Please download the file version AND language based upon your current installation.

All MDaemon versions (9.x – 17.x) and MDaemon Private Cloud. IMPORTANT NOTE – Versions 13.x are currently supported by MDaemon Technologies. Customers still using older versions will need to update to a minimum of version 13.x to fix this issue.
Are any other MDaemon Technologies products affected?
No, MDaemon is the only product that is affected by this issue.
What do I need to do in order to resolve this issue?
Simply download the appropriate patch listed in the Affected Software Section of this update. There is no requirement to renew Upgrade Protection to obtain the fix.
