Trusting self signed certificate on a client machine

Some clients require a trusted certificate in order for the client to make a connection to MDaemon. If you're using a self signed certificate, you must import the certificate to the trusted certificate store on the client machine to trust it.

To import the self signed certificate with Internet Explorer 10:

  1. Browse to your WorldCient URL in Internet Explorer 10
  2. Select Continue to this website (not recommended)
  3. Select Certificate error
  4. Select View Certificate
  5. Select Install Certificate
  6. Select Local Machine
  7. Select Next
  8. Select Place all certificates in the following store
  9. Select Browse
  10. Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities
  11. Select OK
  12. Select Next
  13. Select Finish

To import the self signed certificate with Internet Explorer 8 or 9:

  1. Browse to your WorldCient URL in Internet Explorer 8 or 9
  2. Select Continue to this website (not recommended)
  3. Select Certificate error
  4. Select View Certificate
  5. Select Install Certificate
  6. Select Next
  7. Select Place all certificates in the following store
  8. Select Browse
  9. Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities
  10. Select OK
  11. Select Next
  12. Select Yes to the Security Warning
  13. Select Ok
