Changing the email icon name, wipe your device, resend service books, and reset your device password

This article explains how to change the email icon name, wipe your device, resend service books, and reset your device password on your BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) activated device.

Log into your WorldClient account:

  1. Click Options
  2. Click BlackBerry Management

If the below options are missing, please see your MDaemon administrator to grant you access

To change the email icon name:

  1. Type the desired name within the Account name field
  2. Click Save

To reset the device password, resend service books, or wipe your device:

  1. Click Reset BlackBerry device password
  2. Enter the new password
  3. Click OK
  1. Click Resend service books to BlackBerry device
  2. Click OK
  1. Click Erase all data on device
  2. Type 'blackberry' to confirm the device wipe
  3. Click OK
  1. Click Erase work related data only (See Related Articles below)
  2. Type 'blackberry' to confirm the device wipe
  3. Click OK
