MDaemon 11x and below: Secondary Domains dialog

The Secondary Domains dialog in MDaemon displays information about your secondary domains and lets you add or configure or remove them.

Secondary Domain List

Lists each existing secondary domain, its IP and other settings.

Domain Name

Enter a domain name here to add a new secondary domain to MDaemon.

FQDN

Enter the fully-qualified domain name for the domain. It may be the same as the regular domain or it my be a subdomain such as mail.domain.com.

IP address

Enter the IP for the domain name you just entered. You may leave it blank and MDaemon will use the default.

Bind sockets to this IP

This box should be checked if this domain should only respond to requests on a certain IP. In most cases, this should be disabled.

Add

This button adds a domain to the secondary domain list.

Replace

After editing a secondary domain, click this button to replace the configuration with your new one.

Remove

Click this button to highlight the selected secondary domain.

Delete accounts within this domain if inactive for XX days

Enter a value here to have MDaemon automatically delete accounts that are inactive for the given amount of time.

Delete messages kept by users within this domain if older than XX days

Enter a value here to have MDaemon automatically delete messages if older than the given amount of days.

Delete deleted IMAP messages in this domain older than XX days

Enter a value here to have MDaemon delete messages that have the IMAP deleted flag from the domain's user accounts

Delete old messages from IMAP messages as well

Enable this box to have MDaemon apply the above pruning settings to folders other than the inbox.

Enable AntiVirus

When this box is enabled MDaemon will scan messages to and from this domain for viruses. SecurityPlus for MDaemon is required.

Enable AntiSpam

When this box is enabled MDaemon will pass messages to and from this domain through the antispam engine.
