What Customers Are Saying
MDaemon 9.60 - our best version ever!
"Email systems are a core section of my techsupport business. I've been supporting MDaemon since v2.5, and I would always recommend it to clients as the most stable, most transparent, and most configurable mailserver package."
"-And yes, I'd have to agree that 9.6 is a very impressive release, in fact I'd go as far as to say that it beats anything that either Redmond or the GNU/Linux community presently have to offer."

MDaemon Email Server for Windows
Using SSL with DomainPOP and MultiPOP
Starting with version 9.6.3, MDaemon can POP mail from sources using SSL/TLS. Simply change the outbound port to 995 and MDaemon will use SSL/TLS for MultiPOP and DomainPOP. To change the outbound port in MDaemon, select Setup → Primary domain... on the Ports tab, change the ‘POP server connects to this remote port when collecting mail’ from 110 to 995, and Apply the changes.
User Quota Statistics
MDStats displays the message counts and disk space the same way MDaemon calculates the quotas. If you would like quotas to include all subfolders, in MDaemon go to Setup, Miscellaneous Options, Quotas and make sure "Include all inbox sub-folders in quota calculation" and "... including groupware folders" are checked. Please be aware that checking these options could push users over their quotas since they were not being counted before.
